The Boston 13s will embark on the longest regular season road trip in the USARL this weekend when they travel to Virginia for their round two clash with the NOVA Eagles.

055Coming off a very rusty yet convincing win in the season opener, the Thirteens will begin preparations a day earlier than usual, leaving Boston Friday evening.

“We discussed last week’s game briefly at training on Tuesday”, said Boston’s five year veteran prop, Patrick Canty.

“We shifted our focus onto this game quickly because no matter what effects travel may have on the squad, we still have to turn up and beat the other team on their home pitch.”

Boston’s lineup will look a little different to last week’s, with a handful of forced changes being implemented.

“I’m really excited about this week’s game”, said Assistant Coach, Dustin Cooper.

“We have great depth within the club, across all positions, so I’m really pleased for the boys who are getting their opportunity.”

“They’ve all worked extremely hard, and I’m looking forward to seeing them perform.”
