The Philadelphia Fight is all that stands between the Boston 13s and their second USARL Grand Final appearance in three years.

Having progressed this far into the season undefeated, and winning their qualifying playoff in a convincing manner, the Fight go into today’s match understandable red-hot favorites.

However, with favoritism comes pressure.

Pressure to perform and live up to the hype is something that the 13s will be looking to expose.

“Having the underdog tag sits very well with us”, said Boston coach Robin Peers.

“We’ve spoken as a group and know what has to be done for us to cause the upset”.

“There’s no pressure on us”.

“Practice has been fantastic and every player knows their job individually, so now it’s a matter of putting it out on the field”.

Travelling to Philadelphia to play a Grand Final qualifier isn’t unfamiliar territory for the boys from Massachusetts, winning the corresponding match in 2012 with a flawless display.

“Both teams are completely different outfits from two years ago”, Peers continued.

“We’ve been building nicely, and the boys are going to give it their all to get that W”.

“They’re ready to rip in!”
